White House's Office of Management and Budget announces further delay of consumer issue

A week after consumer groups sent an unprecedented letter to the administration asking that work on the Department of Transportation Enhancing Consumer Protections III rulemaking be completed, they announced a delay until October 19 for release of the rulemaking by the OMB.

This means that the earliest this rulemaking will be published and ready for comments by airlines, travel agents, central reservation systems and consumers
will be the end of October.
