Recently, Tripso commented on Aer Lingus preparing for outsourcing from Ireland to the USA. Delta and others are outsourcing their customer service to India and many airlines have started outsourcing maintenance overseas.
For many, these shifts in workers are a personal affair, having affected their jobs and security. For others, especially those using telephone help lines, outsourcing is hard to understand and can be confusing. We can all agree that outsourcing has produced plenty of opportunities for humor.
