Hotwire is known for offering deals but not disclosing the travel provider until you finish booking the trip. The “opaque” site has decided to create a website that shows the deals and the provider for travel packages, adding a new site to the deal-finding collection of websites.
Travel-Ticker displays the deals for destinations across the globe. Travelers can choose from different ways to get there (flights, hotels, cruises, cars), places to go, and reasons to go (spa, sun and beach, family travel, etc.). The home page provides a summary of the various packages offered at rock-bottom prices.
Barbara Messing, the site’s vice president, says that their team of travel experts “is dedicated to finding the lowest prices possible — we won’t publish a deal that we don’t love.” The site is updated frequently and they do caution that some of the deals may have sold out since the last update.
Travel-Ticker is not a booking site so users with issues about their reservation or questions about the booking will need to contact the provider directly.
The next time you’re looking for a travel bargain, check out Travel-Ticker.
