Back in 2013 the US Capitol Dome was slowly covered by an upwardly creeping layer of scaffolding. The lights inside that that scaffolding overpowered the other lights of the city for more than a year as craftsmen worked carefully restoring the crown of our Capitol building. Now, the work is done and the wonders of the restoration are out for Americans to see.

Germany has long been the home of many of the fairy tales we heard when growing up. The Brothers Grimm centered almost all of their tales in Germany. Hansel and Grettle, Puss in Boots, Rapunzle, Sleeping Beauty, the Pied Piper, Cinderella, the Frog Prince and Little Red Riding Hood all took place in Germany. And this is where German fairytale castles we love almost have their roots.
